Center for International Studies
The Center for International Studies provides enhanced international experiences for USC Upstate students and faculty members as well as interaction between the University and the International community. Through reciprocal agreements with various universities around the world USC Upstate offers students the opportunity to study or conduct internships abroad. For international students welcomed each year from more than 70 countries, the Center provides curricular and personal support, assistance with internship placements in international and American local businesses, and a “home away from home.”
Center for Women’s and Gender Studies
As part of the USC Upstate commitment to recognizing and supporting diversity efforts on campus, the Center for Women's and Gender Studies promotes a safe and healthy university environment by creating and enhancing leadership opportunities, personal growth, and professional development for women in our campus community. The Center co-sponsors several exciting campus events, including an international film series, a book club, and academic conferences on topics ranging from leadership and negotiation skills to contemporary media culture and innovative theories of gender and sexuality.

EREO supports the university’s efforts to increase faculty and staff diversity through broad recruitment strategies. Non-Traditional Student Services
The Non-Traditional Student Services Office adopts a commitment to diversity as seen from the vantage point of its commitment to non-traditional students. The office focuses on counseling, consulting, and providing workshops across a broad spectrum of student groups. Through these efforts, the Non-Traditional Student Services Offices strives to provide outreach services to non-traditional students within the USC Upstate community.
