Department of History, Political Science, Philosophy, American Studies and Religion
The Department of History, Political Science, Philosophy, American Studies and Religion is part of the College of Arts and Sciences and represents one of USC Upstate's most diverse departments.
The department offers both Bachelor of Arts degrees and minors in history and political science, along with minors in philosophy, American studies and religion. HPPA is also home to the new Pre-Law minor. In addition, the department offers upper- and lower-level courses in military science.
