Center for Interdisciplinary Studies

Steeped in the college's liberal arts tradition, the Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) major provides a degree opportunity to students whose educational backgrounds or life and career plans are non-traditional. IDS offers the opportunity to earn either a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree, with myriad possibilities in designing a course of study for realizing individual career goals. In the IDS program students get maximum flexibility in applying transfer credits toward the degree, and the option of taking coursework at night and/or at the Greenville campus.
