Dr. Routh teaches upper level courses in Business Informatics in the Department of Informatics at USC Upstate. He is also the Director of the Institute for CIO Excellence which offers professional training and certification for commercial CIOs and IT Directors.
At the Institute for CIO Excellence, Dr. Routh teaches successful commercial CIOs and IT Directors how to be more successful in their business environments. He brings this high level of knowledge and expertise into the classroom so our undergraduate Business Informatics students can benefit from this by being prepared to think like a big corporation CIO and solve the problems that face business executives of large corporations. We believe this gives our graduates a considerable advantage as they compete for jobs and promotions in the corporate world after graduation.
