Submission Guidelines

Literary submissions should be typed and include the following information: School Name, Grade Level, Teacher Name, Student Name, and Title of Work on the first page. Literary work will not be returned. Please keep copies of your submissions. You may submit on a disk in MICROSOFT WORD by regular mail or by e-mail.

Art submissions should be submitted as black and white glossy photographs sized 3x5", 5x7" or 8x10". On the reverse side of each photograph affix a white mailing style label to include the following information: School Name, Grade Level, Teacher Name, Student Name, Title of Work, Dimensions of Work htXwdXdp, Media (drawing, painting, photography, collage, mixed media, digital, ceramic, sculpture, etc.). Actual works of art are no longer accepted for the competition.

Quality photographs of clear images representing the work of art are best for competition purposes, and allow the printer to capture the best possible image for reproduction in the book. Using a non-reflective black background when shooting works of art will give the best results. Due to the nature of printing services we are unable to return your photographs.

Photographs and disks should be mailed to:
