The Math Club encourages math awareness and promotes interest in mathematics at USC upstate. Club meetings address issues important to USC Upstate students with an interest in mathematics or an intention to work in the field of mathematics. The Math Club travelled to the MAA-AMS Joint Mathematics Meeting in Boston, MA, Jan 4-7, 2012. The group had an opportunity to learn various math topics in academics, careers, and research. The group also visited MIT and Harvard University during the meeting. President: James Newell and Advisor: Dr. Muhammad Hameed.
