Pre-Chiropractic
The USC Upstate pre-chiropractic program is designed to meet the admission requirements for Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, S.C.
Sherman College Admission Requirements and Information:
A minimum of 90 semester hours is required for admission to Sherman. USC Upstate has a 3+1 program with Sherman to enable a student to finish Sherman admission requirements at USC Upstate, enter Sherman, and receive a bachelor's degree from USC Upstate after satisfactory completion of the first year at Sherman. The minimum acceptable GPA for Sherman admission is 2.7, with a grade of C or better in all required courses. All the science courses must have associated labs.

* Depends upon math placement. Students who place in Mathematics 99 must complete this course before enrolling in Chemistry 111. Completion of SMTH 126+127 is required before enrolling in physics. Minimum grade of "C" necessary in all required courses. All science courses must have labs. In order to earn a bachelor's degree, a student needs to declare an Interdisciplinary Studies major and take advantage of the 3+1 program.
