Pre-Professional Options

Pre-Professional Options at USC Upstate

Most professional programs require or strongly recommend that you have a bachelor's degree at the time of entry into the professional program. Pre-Professional programs that require, or for which a bachelor's degree is recommended, are:

Pre-Chiropractic Button  Pre-dental button
Pre-Engineering button  Pre-Law button
Pre-Medical button  Pre-Occupational Therapy button
Pre-Optometry button  Pre-Pharmacy button
Pre-Physical Therapy button  Pre-Physician Assistant button
Pre-Veterinary Medicine button

Entry into pre-professional schools and graduate programs is on a competitive basis. Other pre-professional tracks require that students complete 60+ credit hours of undergraduate credit (about two years of work at USC Upstate, followed by two or more years of professional study elsewhere).
