A manager for a multinational consumer or business-to-business goods firm? In charge of operations for a leading manufacturer? Earning a college degree in business is essential to realizing your dreams.
USC Upstate wants to help you obtain your Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree. Students may enter the program as a freshmen or transfer their credits from a two-year technical or community college. To meet the needs of a diverse student body, we are increasing our course offerings to include online, hybrid and seven-and-a-half week short-term courses.
The Upstate business program gives students a basic foundation in marketing, management, information systems, accounting (the language of business), economics, operations management, business law, finance and business strategy. In addition, students may choose to specialize in marketing, management, economics/finance, or accounting depending on their unique skills and career goals. We offer enrolled students personal assistance with internships and job placement at the time of graduation.
USC Upstate is accredited by AACSB International, providing assurance that the Upstate business program is equal to the best business programs in the world. Less than five percent of the business programs in the world have achieved this mark of distinction.
At USC Upstate, we also focus on students mastering the "soft skills" that are essential to long-term career success. These skills include writing and presentation skills, networking, team building and leadership skills. Our professionalism program helps students obtain business "social skills" and includes our "protocol dinner" that enables students to feel comfortable in any business dining situation. Student success is our focus.
