Arbor Day:
Friday, December 5, 2014

This year will mark the 11th anniversary of the University of South Carolina Upstate's Arbor Day Celebration, which is held annually on South Carolina Arbor Day, the first Friday in December.

Arbor Day will be held Friday, December 5, 2014.

This year, we are thrilled to have TWO speakers:  the Dynamic Duo, Ted and Gerald Stevens from Nurseries Caroliniana. We will “Celebrate the Carolinas” with the Stevens brothers as they share their knowledge of noble trees and landscape design.

The noble tree of the year,  Espresso® Kentucky Coffee Tree[FK1] , selected by Roebuck Wholesale Nursery, will be dedicated in four Spartanburg City parks the morning of Arbor Day festivities. Presentations and a luncheon will follow on the USC Upstate campus.

Tickets will be on sale beginning November 1.
