Campus Activities Board (CAB)

The purpose of the Campus Activities Board (CAB) , is to involve students in creating and planning social events for the campus community. CAB aims to provide a diverse range of programs for students that allow them to develop socially, while simultaneously attempting to create a more unified campus.  There are three main purposes of CAB:

• Providing social and educational programming for the USC Upstate campus community.
• Challenging members to be innovative when serving a diverse student population. With a collaboration between organizations, CAB can encompass the programming of the campus and become diverse in its vision of events through an active student voice.
• Helping to educate and unite various groups in the production, promotion, and organization of programs, as well as in the recruitment and retention of CAB members. These programs include dances, live music, comedians, game nights, movie nights, diversity lectures, etc.

Where Are We?
Our office is located on the second floor of the Campus Life Center within the Student Life Suite. Our office is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  If we are not available in the office, please give us a call at (864) 503-5132 or send us an email at anytime. If you have questions, comments, suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us.  We are always looking for feedback!

How Can YOU Get Involved?
We want you to be a part of CAB because the more students that get involved, the more ideas we get and the easier it is to plan the programs that YOU want. See what's happening on campus this month! 

First…just come out to the events!
Check out the event calendar and come join us for one of our activities. They are fun, and isn't that how college is supposed to be?

Next…come to one of our meetings.
Call the CAB office at 503-5132 for more information. We always have a great time, but we also get things done.
