Community Service
IMPACT, a community service organization, helps unite the campus and community by promoting good relations among students, faculty members, and administrators. This concept is directly linked to the University mission.
USC Upstate strives to prepare its students to participate as responsible citizens in a diverse and global society, to pursue excellence in their chosen careers and to continue learning throughout life. For that reason, IMPACT was created to offer students an opportunity for increased group participation and interaction while promoting a sense of community responsibility and civic duty.
Get Involved
All USC Upstate students, faculty and staff are invited to all of USC Upstate IMPACT events. But, if you want to do more than just show up, you can also help plan events. If you have a project or cause you are passionate about, you can even be one of the project leaders. Come to one of our meetings to join the IMPACT Board. We meet every other Monday at 1:30.
For more information, visit the IMPACT office in the Campus Life Center, room 224, or call us at 864-503-5126. You can also contact Adrienne Middleton in the Office of Student Life at 864-503-5196.
