AV Equipment Checkout
Traditional audiovisual equipment (TV’s, DVD/VCR’s, LCD projectors, overhead projectors, PA systems, digital still and video cameras, etc.) is available for classroom use and for on- and off-campus events. Scheduling for Admin 116
All compressed video distance education courses transmitted or received from Admin 116 are monitored and distributed through Media Services. To schedule Admin 116, please contact Teresa Truesdale at 864-503-5564. You will also need to complete the Distance Education Classroom Request Form for scheduling approval.
Smart Classroom Installation, Support and Maintenance
Currently, Media Services maintains 106 smart classrooms, eight distance learning classrooms, 21 enhanced classrooms, and Media Services staff also troubleshoot audiovisual equipment problems. To familiarize yourself with operation of the equipment in a typical smart classroom, please refer to the Smart Classroom Technology Instructions. To request new classroom equipment or upgrades to existing classroom equipment, please review the Classroom AV Equipment Request Policy. To report equipment problems with any Media Services supported classroom, please contact the ITS Help Desk at 864-503-5257, or Robert Thomas at 864-503-5565.
