What are the hours that the Cashier’s Office is open?
Normal business hours are Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Summer hours, through August 2, are Monday - Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
Where is the Cashier’s Office located?

How can I make my tuition payment?
You can make your tuition payment in a variety of ways, including:
- Option One – Online through VIP by e-check (through Summer II).
- Option Two – Online through VIP by credit or debit card. The University system, which includes USC Upstate, accepts Mastercard, Discover and American Express. The University does not accept Visa. Payments through VIP will only be available through Summer II.
- Option Three – In the Cashier’s Office, by check or cash only.
Note: Beginning in Fall 2013, you can pay your bill online through Self Service Carolina.
You cannot make your tuition payment over the phone, nor can you make your payment in our office with a credit or debit card. Credit or debit card payments can only be made online through VIP. Payments through VIP will only be available through Summer II.
What is an e-check?
It is an electronic check. Use this option to input your checking information directly into VIP. This eliminates having to stand in line at the cashier’s office or risk having your check lost in the mail and miss the cancellation deadline. There is no charge for using an e-check. It is the fastest and safest way to pay tuition. Payments through VIP will only be available through Summer II.

How much will I get back from my financial aid overage check?
Please go to VIP to see your individual account through Summer II. Beginning in the fall, you can view your student account information through Self Service Carolina.
