Just Off Turner To Play At USC Upstate’s Spring Fest

Spartanburg, S.C. - The soulful rock 'n' roll band Just Off Turner will headline the annual Spring Fest celebration at the University of South Carolina Upstate on Thursday, April 9 at 7:00 p.m. on the Main Quad. The concert is free.

Just Off TurnerThe Spring Fest celebration will also include free food, sack races, funnel cakes, Frisbee toss, Coca-Cola ring toss, wrecking ball, armchair quarterback, mechanical bull rides, and much more.

Since arriving on the LA scene, Just Off Turner has evolved into a band that is repeatedly turning heads and consistently winning over new fans. With passionate lyrics contagious melodies and a timeless sound, JOT is a band with universal appeal. Stellar songwriting and inspiring musicianship have led audiences to draw comparisons to artists such as Jeff Buckley, Coldplay, and John Mayer.

After moving the group from Arkansas in 2001, founding members Bryan Mounce (lead vocals and guitar) and Eric Gustafson (drums & vocals) teamed up with Phil Metzler (keyboards & vocals) and Stephen Andrews (bass & vocals) to create their own exciting brand of soulful rock ‘n’ roll. Their innovative songwriting and inspired melodies have earned the band headlining spots at LA’s hottest venues such as The Mint, Key Club and the world-famous Viper Room. In addition, their songs have been featured in the ABC sitcom Help Me Help You starring Ted Danson, the E! reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Oxygen Network's Bad Girls Club and the season finale of MTV's The Real World: Sydney.
