Students Learn To Blast Away Fears With Anxiety Awareness Event

Spartanburg, S.C. - University of South Carolina Upstate students will be treated to free massages, anxiety screenings, learn tips on how to deal effectively with stress and anxiety, participate in a “Blast Your Fears Away” activity, and pick up free goodies when they attend an Anxiety Awareness Event sponsored by Disability Services and Counseling Services on Wednesday, March 31. The event will take place from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Lower Quad next to the College of Arts and Sciences Building.

“This is a great opportunity for the USC Upstate community to learn more about the number one mental health problem in America and learn useful strategies for managing stress,” said Danielle Lewis, student services coordinator with Disability Services at USC Upstate.
