Providing Shelter for the Watershed Ecology Center

The Watershed Ecology Center’s mission is to collect, analyze, and disseminate sound scientific information on the ecology of the region. Special emphasis is placed on watershed conservation, education, water quality and the study of organisms living in the area encompassed by a watershed.

Every summer, the Center offers camps for area school children, covering fun science-related topics such as Good to be Green, Science Explorers and Nature Detectives. The Pavilion will become the new location for these camps, brining over 1,500 young people into contact with nature and onto a college campus.
