Reaching Out to those Less Fortunate
If you continually give, you will continually have. We all have the power to change people's lives and shape our community. When we reach our hand to one, we influence the condition of all. Remember that we all have the ability to affect others.
The 2012 USC Upstate United Way campaign kicks off Monday, October 1st and will conclude on Wednesday, October 31st! Please join with us and make your mark on our community by contributing to the USC Upstate 2012-2013 United Way campaign. It's as easy as completing a pledge form; you can make a one-time gift or a payroll deduction. By whatever means and for whatever purpose, please consider a gift. It matters less how much we give than that we give.
Pledge forms are available online or in the Human Resources Office on campus. All forms should be returned to the Office of Human Resources. For additional information, you may contact Sarah Gurley at (864) 503-5322.
United Way of the Piedmont fundraising involves hundreds of volunteers and more than 11,000 contributors throughout Spartanburg, Cherokee and Union Counties. Diligence and good stewardship helps United Way of the Piedmont keep its costs to 10 percent, meaning that 90 cents of every dollar donated goes back into the community in the form of programs and services.
When you invest in the community through United Way, your gifts of time and money address the most critical health and human service issues and support proven programs that are improving the quality of life for residents of Spartanburg, Cherokee and Union Counties. Find out more about how you can help by visiting the United Way of the Piedmont's Web site.
