Aquatics at the Wellness Center

Swimming-Jason
The Wellness Center at the University of South Carolina Upstate offers an eight-lane, 25 yard recreational swimming pool for lap swimming, fitness classes, swim lessons, and other aquatic activities. 

The pool in the Wellness Center can be used for innertube water polo or basketball, dive-in movies, and water aerobics.

 

Fitness Class: Aqua Fit (Begins August 20!)
The 50-minutes workout can be achieved in the water! Routines are designed to use each part of the body to its fullest capacity. Cardio-respiratory endurance is increased and joints are moved through their full range of motion. The intensity of your workout will be governed by your level of conditioning.

Group Swim Lessons 
Group lessons are available for ages 6-13.

Private Swim Lessons
Individuals of all ages and swimming levels will receive personalized instruction from Certified Red Cross instructors.

Semi-private
