Zhejiang A&F University

Initially founded in 1958 as a institute focused on agriculture and forestry, Zhejiang A&F University (浙江农林大学) has since expanded to include a wide variety of programs and areas of study. ZAFU is composed of three campuses: East Lake, Yijin, and Zhuji. The university holds true to its roots in that the campuses are enriched with the use of forests and water to provide natural beauty among the various architecture.

The city of Lin'an is located in the eastern costal province of Hangzhou. It's mountainous terrain and dense forests provided the ideal environment for an agriculture and forestry school. Today, over three-fourths of the area is still cover by forest which drive much of the local economy with the production of wood, bamboo, tea, pecan, and various local herbs.
