USC Upstate's Gospel Choir - The Soul of the University

Tune in to WSPA-TV7 on Monday and Tuesday at 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. to learn how The Gordon-Collums Gospel Choir was more than just a choir at USC Upstate and was more like a family. Dr. Warren Carson, who directed the choir for more than 25 years, said the choir started with a few students who really wanted to have an activity on campus that was more reflective of their own experiences. More than 1,500 students have sung with the choir in its history, Carson estimated.

The Gospel Choir had a reunion during the chancellor's investiture. Visit the special Facebook page created for the USC Upstate Gospel Choir Reunion.
