Army ROTC has always been one of America’s leading sources of scholarships, making awards to thousands of the highest caliber students each year. Selection of winners is based on academic record, SAT or ACT test results, school officials’ evaluations, extracurricular activities, leadership and athletic activities, a personal interview, and a physical aptitude exam.
The Department of Military Science awards scholarships to the most outstanding applicants. In keeping with our high standards of excellence, candidates are selected for scholastic as well as extracurricular accomplishments and not on the basis of financial need. Scholarship benefits are awarded in annual amounts full tuition and fees. In addition to the awarded scholarship, each winner receives a flat rate of $1,200 annually for books and supplies, as well as, a monthly stipend, tax-free.
Winners may use their scholarships at hundreds of colleges and universities throughout the United States. USC Upstate offers scholarships and need-based financial aid in addition to an Army ROTC scholarship.Requirements:
