Assistant Professor, Speech Communication
Andrea Davis is a communication professor who has been with USC Upstate since Fall 2008. She has taught Gender Communication along with such courses as Senior Seminar in Communications, Communication Research Methods, Public Speaking and Interpersonal Communication.
She completed her Bachelor’s degree in mass communication with a minor in ethnic studies from Westfield State College in Massachusetts, along with a Master’s degree in Communication from St. Louis University, and a PhD in Communication Studies from Bowling Green State University along with a graduate certificate in Women’s Studies.
“I liked the fact that there was an opportunity for faculty to teach new courses in [Women's and Gender studies] and design new courses in that area," Davis said.
