École Supérieure de Commerce de Rennes
Located in northwestern France, the ESC Rennes School of Business, or École Supérieure de Commerce de Rennes in French, was established in 1990 as a international research-based business school. Over one-third of all students on campus come from outside of France making ESC Rennes the most internationally focused business school in the country. Along with the strong international presence within the student body, the faculty is also comprised of a vast majority of professors who are not of French origin and represent 25 different nationalities.
The city of Rennes is the capital city of the region of Brittany in northwestern France and has a population of over 200,000. It has a long history of culture and arts that dates back almost two millennia which can be seen and enjoyed within their four museums. The city was heavily damaged during World War II during bombing runs by both sides as they tried to take control of the area. Since that time, the city developed extensive building plans to rebuild and is now the second fastest-growing city in France.
