The University of Carlo Cattaneo
The University of Carlo Cattaneo (LIUC) is located in the Italian town of Castellanza. Housed in a 19th century cotton mill that was beautifully restored by Itailian architect Aldo Rossi, the university is now home to 2,000 students. There are three schools: Economics and Management, Industrial Engineering and Law. The pre-law and business programs are offered in English to Erasmus and exchange students.

The city of Castellanza is situated in the northern Italian province of Varese roughly 50 miles northwest of Milan. Home to about 15,000 residents, it is one of the main industrial centers of the region. It sits in the shadow of the Swiss Alps and is a short distance away from two famous lakes: Lago Maggiore and Lago di Como. The later is considered to be one of the most beautiful lakes in Europe with people such as George Clooney and Gianni Versace having owned property on its shores.
Language of Instruction: Italian and English (Business and Pre-Law Only)
Eligibility Requirements: Sophomore standing or higher and a 2.75 GPA
Length of Study: Semester or year
