Belgium and the Netherlands – Dr. Ellis and Dr. Placek
Law, Government, and Politics Abroad
President or Prime Minister? Senate or Parliament? Governments, including democracies, may look vastly different around the globe each and with their own strengths and weaknesses. Explore these differences and gain global understanding of law, government, and politics by joining Dr. Allison Ellis and Dr. Matthew Placek on a multi-city program within Europe. Stay in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and Brussels, Belgium while exploring important political sites in each region. Day trips to The Hague and Bruges are included. Students will receive 3 credits by either enrolling in POLI U355: Culture and Politics Abroad or PLAW: Prelaw Studies Abroad.
