Georgia – Prof. Amanda Karls

Join Amanda Karls in exploring one of the most important topics of the present day: environmental sustainability. Receive hands-on experience from those at the forefront of this issue within our region by visiting F. D. Roosevelt State Park and working beside the park's employees. Students will stay in the park's cabins for the duration of the program. Students must be enrolled in IDST U401: Topics in Interdisciplinary Studies - Environmental Stewardship for 3 credit hours during the spring semester of 2024. There is a service-learning component to the program which all students must participate in.
