Munich, Germany - Dr. Alex Lorenz
Join Assistant Professor of German, Dr. Alex Lorenz, on a cultural and language-learning tour of Munich, Germany and the surrounding state of Bavaria! This 2-week program includes a German langauge course for learners of any level and a German culture course (GERM U250 or U350). Learn outside the classroom as multiple activites, site visits, and tours happen throughout the program.
Highlights: Exploring Munich, Neuschwanstein Castle, Dachau Concentration Camp, BMW HQ, Bayern Munich Stadium, Landshut University

Program Fee: $2,000
Fee includes: tuition for language course, housing (single occupancy), breakfast with host families, health & travel insurance.
Fee does not include: airfare, tuition for USC Upstate course, public transport pass, some meals, tickets to cultural sites, trip delay/cancellation insurance, PPE, required COVID-19 PCR test to return to U.S.
First Payment: $1,000 - April 1, 2022 ($250 non-refundable)
Final Payment: $1,000 - May 1, 2022

Due to German COVID-19 protocols, all participants must be fully vaccinated (Pfizer or Moderna only). Participants who are fully vaccinated and boosted will not need to undergo daily testing. Negative tests may be required to entrance into some cultural sites. Tests are easily accessible in local pharmacies.
Participants will need to register their trip by visiting www.einreiseanmeldung.de and provide proof of registration upon arrival.
Masks are required in most public spaces and must be KN95 only.
