Bachelor of Science in Psychology
The USC Upstate psychology program has more than 230 majors and offers the Bachelor of Science degree in experimental psychology. Students may earn the Bachelor of Arts in psychology by adding a second year of foreign language. The program of study provides students the opportunity to acquire knowledge in many facets of psychology. The program includes courses such as introduction to psychology, statistics, introduction to experimental psychology, developmental psychology, learning and memory, social psychology, abnormal psychology, psychology of personality, cognitive psychology, sensation and perception, physiological psychology, industrial and organizational psychology, family psychology, social influence and history and systems of psychology
Minors in Psychology
We offer a minor in psychology, a minor in Child Advocacy Studies and a post-baccalaureate certificate in Child Advocacy Studies. The Child Advocacy Studies (CAST) minor is an interdisciplinary minor that provides comprehensive training to students who plan to work in a variety of areas serving children.
