Graduate Programs
Thank you for your interest in the University of South Carolina Upstate Graduate Programs in Education. This is an exciting time to apply for admission into a graduate program and earn your master’s degree.
We are exploring new, innovative ways to expand our programming, while maintaining the excellence of our current programs. I hope, as a result of your experiences in graduate school at USC Upstate, that you will be prepared to excel as reflective, effective leaders in your classrooms and schools as well as more broadly in our increasingly complex global society.
We offer Master of Education Programs in Applied Learning and Instruction and Visual Impairment as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching in Visual Impairment. In addition, we offer a Master of Science in Exercise and Sport Science. You will find that our courses are designed to fit into your busy schedule; most students obtain their M.Ed., M.A.T., and M.S. in two years or less. You may also elect to enroll as a non-degree seeking student and take graduate courses for professional development, recertification, or add-on certification in additional areas.
You will find an overview of our programs, degree requirements, and admissions criteria. If you have questions or would like to schedule an appointment for more information, please feel free to contact Alyssa Dickerson, Administrative Assistant for Graduate Degree Programs in Education. We look forward to hearing from you!
