Division of Natural Sciences and Engineering

The Division of Natural Sciences and Engineering (NSE) offers Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degrees in biology and chemistry.

In addition, NSE offers pre-professional options as advisement tracks: Pre-medical, pre-dental, pre-physician assistant, pre-veterinary medicine, pre-optometry, and pre-pharmacy. Pre-engineering students can take courses at Upstate while they prepare for transfer to various engineering schools. Courses are offered in the areas of astronomy, biology, chemistry, geology and physics to support NSE majors and general education. A variety of undergraduate research opportunities and internships are also supported.
