Bachelor in Interdisciplinary Studies (BIS)

The Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies (BIS) provides a highly flexible experience in which students design a curriculum around their specific academic and professional goals. The Greenville campus works with cohorts of students to design a program of study to fit their needs. Cohorts can be comprised of people from a specific organization (or a community college transfer program), or of people who simply have similar career goals. Students who come into the BIS program with an associate degree can complete their bachelors in less than two years. Classes meet one evening a week and/or online.

For more information on chorts, contact Director of Recruitment Dr. Carrie Silver.

For more information on Spartanburg-based BIS, contact Director of Interdisciplinary Studies Dr. Michelle Epstein Garland or advisor Hannah Burress.

Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice

The Criminal Justice program is designed to provide present and future criminal justice professionals with the educational background necessary to be successful in a criminal justice career, graduate school or law school. Students can choose between two program delivery options: a cohort model with in-person classes one day a week in Greenville for hands-on learning with the remaining courses online, or a fully online model.

For more information on the cohort model, contact Associate Professor Dr. Michele Covington.

For more information on the online model, contact coordinator Kirsten Meier.

Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology Management

The Engineering Technology Management (ETM) 2+2 Bachelor of Science program prepares students for careers in business and industry. Students who have earned an associate degree in engineering technology will continue their education by learning leadership and management skills in the ETM program. Classes are fully online.

For more information, contact coordinator Yutosha Alston.
