Application Process
Application for Admission
The first step to enrolling in any USC Upstate program is to complete the application for admission. Each student is regarded as an individual and consideration is given to the complete student profile. General degree completion admission requirements include earning a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA in all previous college-level course work and being academically and otherwise eligible to return to the last institution you attended.
Transfer Students
Transfer students must submit transcripts of all previous college courses whether or not credit was earned and regardless of whether credit is to be transferred. Students can assess which of their credits from South Carolina technical colleges will transfer here. Applicants with fewer than 30 credits of college-level work will also be reviewed based on high school GPA and SAT/ACT test scores (if younger than 22).

Note: Requirements for admission and graduation are determined by the USC Upstate catalog active at the time of admission or if the prospective student submits a Transfer Agreement Form.
