In South Carolina today, the need for skilled, multidisciplinary information management professionals is 10 times higher than the number of graduates being produced. Upstate’s Information and Management Systems program is designed to meet that demand and position you for success immediately upon graduating.
A Dynamic Study of How to Manage Information and Positively Impact Your Organization’s Bottom Line
At every company and organization, information—and the effective management of it—is the lifeblood of success. As a student in this program, you’ll explore how information is generated, acquired, stored, retrieved, organized, managed, processed, and used to benefit organizations and move them ahead to achieving their mission.
The program offers an interdisciplinary curriculum that also includes a focus on areas related to health information management as a way to open expanded opportunities to graduates looking to take advantage of the rapidly increasing need for information management professionals in the healthcare industry.
