Organizational Communication
A minor in Organizational Communication enables students to learn the theories, concepts, and skills necessary to understand communication processes within and between organizations in local and global contexts. In addition to helping students learn professional skills, the coursework provides opportunities for students to combine practical knowledge with theoretical approaches to provide a broader understanding of how communication processes create, transform, and in some cases, undermine democratic practices in the workplace and larger organizing contexts. The minor will enable students to market themselves in any profession and especially business, criminal justice, health communication, human relations, public relations, and politics.
