Palmetto College Criminal Justice Program

The Palmetto College program allows you to complete a bachelor’s degree without leaving your job, family, or community. All criminal justice coursework is available 100% online using Blackboard, a web-based learning management software. To be successful in this program, students are required to have access to a computer with reliable internet connectivity. All student support services are available via distance methods (phone, email, web conferencing software like Microsoft Teams and Blackboard Collaborate, and Internet support sites). Finally, all students are connected with a dedicated academic advisor to help them successfully progress through the admissions process to graduation.

The Criminal Justice program at the University of South Carolina Upstate is designed to provide present and future criminal justice professionals with the educational background necessary to be successful in a criminal justice career, graduate school or law school. Criminal Justice majors complete a course of study that includes crime, offenders, courts, policing, corrections and victims. Majors may also choose to specialize in Crime Analysis by pursuing a B.S. in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Crime Analysis. The program is concerned with both theory and practice.
