Upstate Masthead

During the upcoming school year, the Advancement Office at USC Upstate will award 96 scholarships to hard working and deserving students. Expanding the availability of scholarships is an important priority at USC Upstate.  The funds raised through the Access to Success campaign will allow the University to attract top achievers and provide opportunity to students with financial need.

At USC Upstate and across the country, tuition has increased faster than families’ ability to absorb the additional cost. At the same time, other forms of financial aid have not kept pace with tuition increases. Of the approximately 800 freshman who enrolled at USC Upstate last year, more than half were awarded academic scholarships, while roughly three-quarters of all our students rely on financial aid of some kind.

Maintaining and growing the quality and diversity of our student body can only happen through the contributions of our alumni and friends.  Education is one of the best important investments that you will make, and your gift will ensure that USC Upstate reaches the next level in its ability to attract top students.
