Freshman Admitted Day
Freshman, we've created a special day to help you get ready for college life, Freshman Admitted Day on Friday, April 28! Register online or in-person up to and including the day of the event, which is held under the tent at the G.B. Hodge Center

Complete the FAFSA
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be completed as soon as possible following the completion of your tax return, if you are seeking financial aid. Go to www.studentaid.gov and use our school code 006951.

Apply for Housing
If you are interested in on-campus housing*, please submit the online housing application and $150 deposit. The Housing Application can be accessed by selecting "My Housing Portal" under the Personal Section of Self Service Carolina. Please contact Housing and Residential Life at hrl@uscupstate.edu or 864-503-5422 if you have any questions.
*Please note that all first-year students under the age of 20 are required to live on campus unless they are living at home with their parents and within a 35-mile radius.
Submit Your Test Scores
If you have taken any advanced placement tests or international baccalaureate credits during high school, you must have official test scores submitted electronically to our Records Office from collegeboard.org. Our school code 5850.
Mail Your Final Transcript
Make sure your high school guidance counselor mails your official transcript that shows your senior classes and date of graduation.
Once you have your Upstate account setup, the next big step is to register for and attend SOAR (Student Orientation, Advisement, and Registration)!
Immunization
Immunizations records are required to be submitted before students can register for classes. Records can be uploaded to www.uscupstate.edu/myhealth.
Get a Meal Plan
A meal plan is required for all students living on campus. All commuter students are required to have a minimum $100 meal plan. Detailed information on meal plans can be found on the Dining Services website or by calling 864-503-5900.
