The University of South Carolina Upstate welcomes your application for admission. The following steps will help guide you through the online process. First Time User Returning User

Step 1: Create your Login ID and PIN

The first step in the online application process is creating a Login ID and six-digit PIN. Keep this information on hand as you will use it to complete the application process (should you need to stop and restart) and to check the status of your application once it has been submitted.

To create your Login ID and PIN, click on the "Admissions First-Time User" button, located at the bottom of this page.

After you have created your Login ID and PIN, you wil continue on to "Select a Campus" to which you are applying, "Select an Application Type," and "Apply for Admissions."Please use the proper upper and lower case letters when filling out your application (Ex: "John Smith" not "JOHN SMITH" or "john smith"). Remember, this will serve as part of your official academic record.

*NOTE: Please complete only ONE application per term per campus. If you need to make a change on your application, please call the Admissions Office, but do NOT complete another application.

Step 2: Complete the Application Checklist

You will be directed to the online Application Checklist. You may complete the sections in any order, and you can save your information to complete it at a later time by clicking the "Finish Later" button.

When you have completed all sections of your application, click the "Application is Complete" button to submit your application. After you have completed your application, return to the Application Menu where you will be able to view all of the required credentials and their status. Your application will not be reviewed until all items are completed and all credentials are submitted along with the application.

Returning to Your Application

The Login ID and PIN you created in Step 1 will allow you to return to complete and/or submit your application and view all required credentials (available to view only after completing the Application Checklist). From this screen you will also be able to check the status of your application (please allow 48 hours for the system to upload your application information). All you will need to do is click on the "Admissions Returning User" button to return to the page where you will enter your Login ID and PIN. This will bring you to the Applications Menu which will display all of your current applications and credentials along with their current status.
