Your Experience, Your Way
There are a number of ways you can experience your campus visit. All of them provide ideal opportunities to tour our modern facilities, see where you’ll live, meet faculty and fellow students, have a meal, and stroll through our beautiful campus greenspaces.
You can schedule an individualized campus tour Monday through Friday between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., whenever it’s most convenient for you. Just complete your request form, or call the Office of Admissions at 864-503-5246 or 800-277-8727 to get your tour scheduled.
We offer group tours every week, and our admissions counselors will help arrange yours to ensure your group gets the most out of the experience. Group tours are for 15 or more people.
Campus Visit Events
There are a number of organized campus visit events designed to give future students a comprehensive look into what life as a student at Upstate is all about. These include Open Houses, Fabulous Friday, Junior Day & Junior Scholars, Transfer Tuesday, and Preview Day.

Open House offers an in-depth look at USC Upstate and an opportunity to meet current and future Spartans. Take a Saturday to tour campus facilities and learn about our degree programs and student life options. You will be introduced to faculty, staff and administrators, and enjoy lunch with other prospective students.
Faculty and staff will be on hand to give you specific details on admission requirements and academic programs. Sessions are available on everything from financial aid to residential life. Open House is basically one-stop shopping designed to introduce you to everything USC Upstate has to offer!

How would you and your parents or friends like to spend a Friday discovering what college is really like? Whether you're in high school or a college transfer student, be sure to join us for Fabulous Friday. These are fun, stress-free environments where you can learn what sets USC Upstate apart from other schools.
Student and residential life staff will talk to you about all the ways to get involved on campus and what it's really like to live in the residence halls, and you will have a chance to tour campus housing. Admission counselors will be available to help you better understand the application/enrollment process and the financial aid staff can help you understand how to apply online.
Each session begins at 10 a.m. in the University Readiness Center.

It is never too early to begin visiting colleges to get a sense of how they fit your goals and expectations. Junior Day gives high school juniors a chance to spend some time with other prospective students, meet current students and faculty, and gain an in-depth overview of what to expect from USC Upstate.
We will also be honoring our Junior Scholars at the Junior Day event.
Our Junior Day event will be held Saturday, April 4, 2020 beginning at 10 a.m. in the Olin B. Sansbury, Jr. Campus Life Center.

Transfer Tuesdays are designed for transfer students to meet individually with admissions, financial aid, and advisement staff so that they can help with all of the details to make your transition to USC Upstate a smooth and seamless process.*

This event is a great opportunity for educators, parents, and students of homeschooling, online and private school education communities to tour our campus, learn about degree programs and student life options.
