Sparty's Kids Camp

Join us for our parent meetings on May 15th at 6:30 p.m. and May 18th at 6:30 p.m. These are encouraged even if you have a returning camper. Parents do not need to attend both meetings. This is your opportunity to learn more about camp, meet the counselors, make sure our information is correct regarding the weeks you signed up for, see the camp facilities, and pay deposits.

If you would like to attend week #1, your deposit and balance is due on 5/19/2023. Early bird deposits ($20.00) for all other weeks of camp are due on May 26th by 11:59 p.m..

Deposits to reserve your camper’s spot will be $30.00 after May 26. It is important to note that deposits are non-transferable. For example, if you pay a deposit for the week of June 6th, that deposit cannot be used towards your balance for any other week of camp other than June 6th.

Registrants paying deposits before May 26th, 2023 will pay a $20 balance, non-refundable deposit for all weeks of camp that they are interested in. The balance ($105) will be due two Fridays prior to the camp start date.

Those registering after May 26th, 2023 will pay a $30 dollar balance, non-refundable deposit for the weeks of camp that they are interested in. The balance ($105) will be due two Fridays prior to the camp start date.

We only accept online payments. Please make sure that when you are making your payment online that you are selecting the SAME weeks of camp that we have you registered for. If you are ever unsure which weeks of camp those are, or if you need to make a change prior to the deposit deadline, don’t hesitate to contact Joshua (864-503-5174) or Sarah (864-503-5069).

3. Camp deposits and balances are non-refundable (except for quarantine or extenuating circumstance)
4. Camp deposits and balances are non-transferable to other camp weeks (except for quarantine or extenuating circumstance.)

Please note that you need not put yourself as an emergency contact, nor put your emergency contact as an alternative pick up. We will always call the legal guardians first in an emergency situation. If we cannot reach them, we will call the emergency contacts. We also assume that you would trust your emergency contacts to pick up your child from camp. If you need to make a change to these contacts given this information, please give us a call.

Sparty's Kids Camp drop-off hours are between 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. You can drop off your camper any time, but this is the designated time that we will have counselors outside receiving campers. Campers play quiet games until official camp activities start at 9:00 a.m.. Activities run until 4:00 p.m. and pickup runs from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.

Parents are responsible for providing a snack and lunch for their child. Sparty’s Kids Camp will provide a second snack.

How old do my campers need to be in order to attend Sparty’s Kids Camp?

Sparty's Kids Camp is open to children ages 5 (must turn 5 by Aug. 1, 2023) to 10 (cannot turn 11 before Aug. 1, 2023).

How much does Sparty’s Kids Camp cost a week?

Sparty’s Kids Camp costs a total of $125 per week if you pay your deposits prior to May 26th, 2023.

If you are interested in week 1, the $20.00 deposit and the $105.00 balance are both due on May 19th, 2023

Early deposits for all other weeks of camp you are interested in are $20.00. These are due by 5/26/2023.

We rely on these payment deadlines for purchasing materials and to staff appropriately.

If I don’t remember what weeks you signed up for, what do I do?

Give us a call at (864) 503-5174 or (864) 503-5069 and we’ll let you know. This will avoid you accidentally paying for the wrong week. Remember, there are no transfers, or refunds so this is very important.

What are the Important Forms and what do I do with them?

Sparty’s Kids Camp requires forms to be filled out by a parent or legal guardian. These forms are the Health and Emergency Information, Waiver and Media Release and Consent and Declaration of Prescription Medication forms. Once complete, deliver them to the Spartan Recreation Center or email them to Joshua Gordon (gordonj2@uscupstate.edu) or Sarah Joseph (sjoseph@uscupstate.edu).
