Magnolia House
Magnolia House is a housing facility exclusively for freshmen students. This 105,000-square-foot, suite-style complex can house up to 352 students in its 87 suites, which include single or double rooms and handicap-accessible units.

Meal Plan
Magnolia House residents are required to purchase the Platinum meal plan. Check with Dining Services for meal plan information and dining services restaurants.
Suite Amenities
Each suite in the Magnolia House is equipped with the following:
- Each resident is also provided with a bed, a desk, two chests of drawers and an armoire
- Extra long twin mattresses
- Bathroom, shower area (shower and toilet are in separate rooms)
- Double vanities
- Common living area with furniture
- Microfridge (microwave and refrigerator combination)
- Basic electricity
- Water service
- On-site garbage containers, including recycling bins
- WiFi and laundry provided by HRL
- Stain and scratch-resistant furniture
- Key card access to rooms, halls, and building

- Home to the TRIO/First Generation College Student Living Learning Community.

The Villas
The Villas offer more traditional-style apartments for upperclassmen. Each apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, expanded cable outlets in each bedroom and living room, a full kitchen (full-size refrigerator, stove and microwave), sofa, loveseat, wi-fi and all utilities. They also serve as living space for summer housing.
Housing Class
The Villas are for USC Upstate upperclassmen only, co-educational.
Style
The Villas are offer apartment-style housing with a kitchen. Limited single and double rooms are available.

Safety Measures
- Each apartment is equipped with smoke detectors and fire extinguishers.
- University Police provides security on a 24-hour basis.
- A full-time housing professional lives on site.
- Each unit also has live-in resident advisors, usually upperclassmen, to assist residents with all facets of college life.
