Add a Chapter to Your Story

Since 1979, Fraternity and Sorority Life has had a presence at USC Upstate. Today, USC Upstate is home to 12 chapters of national fraternal organizations — and continues to grow.

Every organization with a chapter at USC Upstate was established by its founders based on a commitment to certain values — brotherhood/sisterhood, service/philanthropy, scholarship, and leadership. Fraternal organizations are more than just social groups; they offer tools for personal development and campus involvement while also allowing opportunities to serve the greater community.

Being a member of a Greek-lettered organization at the University of South Carolina Upstate is a great opportunity to develop as an individual and as a part of a team. Being a member of a fraternity/sorority means joining an organization that is bigger than yourself. By joining, USC Upstate students can enhance their collegiate experience by finding an organization whose values align with theirs. They are entrusted to uphold these values by creating a legacy that will better themselves, their peers and the world around them.
