The Empowerment Award

The Empowerment Award is given to the student, faculty or staff member who has displayed exemplary involvement, passion, inspiration, and dedication to the education and importance of diversity at USC Upstate and the Spartanburg and Greenville communities. The Leon E. Wiles Humanitarian Award

The Leon E. Wiles Humanitarian Award is awarded to the Upstate student who advocates for diversity through participation in campus activities or organizations, community groups, volunteer work or other forms of involvement or action. Nominate a student for the Leon E. Wiles Humanitarian Award.

Intercultural Education and Engagement Program of the Year Award

The Intercultural Education and Engagement Program of the Year Award is presented to the Upstate office that engages its members and the campus community in educational activities that promote awareness, understanding and the appreciation of diverse people, culture, and backgrounds.
