The Department of Facilities Management at USC Upstate is responsible for developing and maintaining all University facilities in an effort to support the goals and mission of the institution by fostering a quality learning environment. We provide services to maintain University facilities and grounds in a safe, attractive and energy-efficient manner. Our goal is to maintain the campus to a high standard of excellence.

Our Mission

Through the efforts of more than 70 dedicated employees, our department maintains over 1 million square feet of building space, parking lots, athletic facilities and about 330 acres of grounds. We maintain the University's major utility systems including electrical, street lighting, hot and chilled water, potable water and sewer. We are responsible for capital project development, housekeeping services, recycling, building and grounds maintenance and utility services.
