To schedule a University event, please appoint one coordinator from your department to manage all aspects of the event. Submit your online request at least one week in advance.
Your request does not guarantee room space. You should expect a confirmation number via email within three working days. If your first choice room is not available, we will do our best to find a comparable space.
A departmental account number is required for food, ushers, theatre technicians and rental equipment. Immediately notify us with any changes in your event plans, and refer to your confirmation number. Please do not switch rooms without approval from the Office of Special Events & Facilities Scheduling.
All events organized by students should be requested using the Student Event Request Form. This includes club meetings, greek events, and student led special interest meetings.
USC Upstate is a great place for virtually any corporate event, such as luncheons, dinners, meetings, press conferences, and other activities. The facilities on our campus are some of the finest in the Upstate and our professional staff will ensure your event runs smoothly.
Complete the Preliminary Request Form with the date, time, estimated number of people, food and any other pertinent information about your event. Contact the Special Events staff to verify facility availability as soon as possible.
Upon finalization of details, a Special Events Contract will be sent to you. It is your responsibility to read this document and return it to the Director of Special Events. By signing, you agree to the conditions and information included.
Catering Requests and Guests
A guaranteed number of guests, when food is requested, must be submitted one week prior to the event to avoid additional charges.
Please clear all use of decorations with the Office of Special Events. The use of glue, staples, tacks, tape or any other method is not allowed to hang items on facility walls.
Event Changes or Cancellation
Please contact the Office of Special Events with any event changes or cancellations.
