How to Find Your My VIP ID Number and Set Your VIP ID Password
Your My VIP ID number is an eight-digit, randomly assigned number used as an alternative from your Social Security Number to login to VIP and verify your identity throughout campus. If you plan to use your My VIP ID to login to VIP, you must first setup a VIP ID password. You can find your VIP ID and set your password within VIP. So, before doing any of this, you must be able to login to VIP by using your SSN and four-digit PIN.
Login to VIP at vip.sc.edu, using your USC ID (SSN) and four-digit PIN. Once you are logged in, look for the Personal link on the left side of the page. Click the Personal link.
Click the Show Me MY VIP ID and Password option on the Personal menu.
Once you are on the My VIP ID page, you will find your VIP ID under the sentence "Your VIP ID is." Write this number down, as it may not be easy to remember. Next, if you plan use your VIP ID to login to VIP, set your VIP ID password in the boxes provided. You will need to enter the same password in both boxes. Your VIP ID password must be between 8-14 characters in length, and contain an uppercase letter, lowercase letter, and number. After you have created and entered a complying password, click the Set Password button. You should receive confirmation that your VIP ID password has been set. If not, click the Back button in your browser and try again, paying special attention to the password requirements.
