Parking: Accessible parking spaces reserved for individuals with disabilities are marked by sign(s) and/or pavement marking(s) incorporating the international disability access symbol. Any accessible parking space, regardless of parking area designation, is available for use. Obstructing access to a parking space reserved for individuals with disabilities is prohibited.
Students, faculty, and staff must display a current USC Upstate parking decal and their state issued "disabled person's" placard (or "disabled person's" license plate) when parking in accessible parking spaces.
Elevators: Please note the following information about the elevators in the library building and the Smith Building:
- The elevator in the library building provides access to the second floor of the library building, not the second floor of the library. Individuals needing access to materials located on the second floor of the library should ask library staff for assistance.
- Individuals needing access to the elevator when on the first floor of the Smith Building will find the elevator located in the room between the IDS office area (Room 103) and the Women's Center (Room 101).
Restrooms: All academic buildings, as well as the Stockwell Administration Building, the Sansbury Campus Life Center and the Rampey Center, have at least one set of accessible restrooms on each floor.
