USC Upstate has launched a national search for its next Chancellor. The University is working closely with Academic Search, with support from their Senior Consultant Virginia S. Horvath, Ph.D. and Vice President and Senior Consultant William F. Howard, in the conduct of this search, under the guidance of President Robert Caslen of the University of South Carolina system.
The University of South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburg, South Carolina, seeks a visionary and strategic leader committed to excellence and equity to serve as the next Chancellor. This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented and accomplished executive leader with significant potential to shape and advance the future of higher education in the dynamic Upstate region of South Carolina and to significantly enhance the community impact of the University. The new Chancellor will be selected by USC President Robert Caslen and is expected to take office by July 1, 2021.
To nominate a candidate, please send personal title (Dr. Mr., Ms.), full name, institution/employer, and email address to UpstateChancellor@academicsearch.org.
As the search progresses, we will periodically update content on this page.
