Applying for Financial Aid

Students applying for financial aid will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA determines the amount of assistance and which program is appropriate for each applicant. You must complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. You are now required to create an FSA ID and password to access all federal student aid websites, which you can do at the time you complete the FAFSA, or by going to www.fsaid.ed.gov. When completing the FAFSA, you will be asked for your school code. USC Upstate's Title IV School Code is 006951.

Bills will no longer be mailed. You must pay your bill on SSC by the cancellation date. You will lose your schedule if you do not pay your bill on time!
